Visitors with Disabilities

A number of measures are in place to ensure that visitors with disabilities have a pleasant experience at the event

Visitors with disabilities are encouraged to come to the front of the queue whilst waiting before the event opens. Sheltered seating areas are available if required.

Visitors with disabilities are welcome to purchase a concessions ticket and request a free ticket for a carer at info@theticketsellers.co.uk

A shuttle bus service with accessible seating for pushchairs and mobility scooters is available on both event days. It will run every 20 minutes from 10:30am – 11:30pm SAT and from 10:30am – 9:30pm SUN, with stops at Temple Meads, St Augustine’s Parade (just outside the Hippodrome) and Ashton Gate.

Visitors with invisible illnesses are welcome to request priority entrance or assistance.

BSL interpretation is available for a selection of talks – click here for the timetable of talks with BSL interpretation available.

In each talks room with rows of seating, seats will be made available for visitors with disabilities in the front row of the talks rooms, and spaces for wheelchairs/mobility scooters made available. Anyone who is hard of hearing, or has a disability, and requires front-row seating, should make themselves known to stewards manning the talks room in question, and priority seating will be arranged.

Accessible toilets are clearly marked at the venue.

Elevators are readily available at the venue for visitors with disabilities to go from one floor to another.

A limited number of car park spaces will be available for blue badge holders free of charge in the Ashton Road end car park – these are available on a first come first served basis. (Please note: form is now closed as all parking spaces are fully booked up).

Seating for visitors with disabilities is available in the South Stand.

Visitors in wheelchair and mobility scooters are advised to arrive early (10:45am) on Sunday morning for priority access – the first hour of Sunday is generally the quietest time and provides the best access for people with mobility scooters and wheelchairs.

If you have any requests, concerns, or questions please email info@vegfest.co.uk in advance of the event, thanks
