Vegan Champion Boxer & Champion Kickboxer

Omowale Adewale is a champion boxer and 2-time champion kickboxer and mixed martial arts fighter. Wale is the author of “An Introduction to Veganism and Agricultural Globalism” and certified in plant-based nutrition. In Brooklyn, NY he is a coach and trainer. Wale is also the co-founder and director of G.A.ME, Inc. a not-for-profit organization that address socio-economic issues among black and people of color in NYC.

Nadia will be doing mitt-work with Omowale holding and hitting, and will also be illustrating self defence techniques. Nadia will also be performing fitness routines aside me showing women they can accomplish the routines at home.

There will also be time for a Q&A with Omowale and Nadia.

Community organizer, vegan book author and former champion fighter discusses the purpose and thrill of developing a vegan festival in Brooklyn’s predominantly Black neighborhood, Bedstuy (Bedford-Stuyvesant). Black VegFest is everything you’ll find at a vegan festival in addition to being focused on systemic change, black self-determination and intersectionality. All are welcome to attend, learn and participate.
