Nadia Muyeeb is a vegan fit mom of three. Nadia is an artist and fitness junkie who crafts handmade cultural jewelry for women in fitness and art lovers.

Nadia is a volunteer organizer of the Black Vegfest in Brooklyn (August 2018). She is an asset in the women’s #metoo movement as a Brooklyn organizer of “Black Men Dismantle Patriarchy and Misogynoir”. She ensures accountability among men and helps maintain a safe space. 

Nadia will be exhibiting her artwork and boxing skills with Omowale Adewale at VegfestUK.

Self Defence

Nadia will be doing mitt-work with Omowale holding and hitting, and will also be illustrating self defence techniques. Nadia will also be performing fitness routines aside me showing women they can accomplish the routines at home.

There will also be time for a Q&A with Omowale and Nadia.

Black VegFest: The Revolutionary Festival of the United States of America

Community organizer, vegan book author and former champion fighter discusses the purpose and thrill of developing a vegan festival in Brooklyn’s predominantly Black neighborhood, Bedstuy (Bedford-Stuyvesant). Black VegFest is everything you’ll find at a vegan festival in addition to being focused on systemic change, black self-determination and intersectionality. All are welcome to attend, learn and participate.
