Brilliant news as one of the UK’s most well-established vegan companies Bute Island Foods is sponsoring VegfestUK Bristol 2018 which takes place at the new venue of Ashton Gate on May 26th 27th 2018.
Bute Island has made waves with their popular Sheese brand of vegan cheese, which now boasts dozens of different flavours and textures that can be tailored to a number of vegan recipes. Sheese has also entered the shelves of major supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s and Tesco, as well as being well stocked in independent wholefood and health shops across the UK, in addition to winning a number of awards in the free-from sector (for full details, see the previous blog on Bute Island here).
The VegfestUK organisers said, “We’re obviously thrilled to have Bute Island’s support once again in 2018, when we’ll be hosting our longest-running event in Bristol at the new venue of Ashton Gate. Bute Island has generously backed the event throughout the years and we’re truly grateful for their support. We’re also delighted to witness the success of this amazing company in getting their products distributed so far and wide as well as scooping a number of awards and gaining a lot of recognition and praise as a result. Bute Island’s rise to the fore has played a big role in popularising dairy-free vegan cheese in the mainstream. Kudos to their whole team for bringing Sheese to many households in the UK and making it more accessible for everybody to live vegan.”
