CEO of London Vegan Meetup, DJ and producer as 'idiotech'
A vegan for two decades, Robb Masters has volunteered for organisations such as The Vegan Society, Animal Aid, Vegan Campaigns, and Animal Liberation Victoria – chairing the London Vegan Pledge (a month long programme for potential vegans), running and assisting with stalls at vegan and non-vegan festivals, participating in high-profile campaigns and protests, acting as a vegan mentor and local contact, and shovelling manure at an animal sanctuary!
Since being asked to take over London Vegan Meetup in late 2011, Robb has grown the membership from approximately 750 to around 4,000, making it the largest vegan social group in the world. This thriving community now holds events every few days – from book clubs to night clubs, educational talks to recreational walks.
Away from his voluntary activities, Robb runs his own web development and online marketing business – increasingly working for vegan organisations, as well as other charities and commercial clients.
Somehow, he also finds time to produce music and DJ as “idiotech”.
