12.00 - HunkiMori - Indulgent Desserts
People often mistakenly think that the words “vegan dessert” are a contradiction in terms. Chelle Hughes from Bristol vegan dining pop-up hunkimori will demonstrate how to make desserts that ditch the dairy but not the indulgence! Learn how to make a velvety rich dark chocolate torte and a creamy toffee-tasting banoffe pie.
1.00 - Adrian Smith (Vegan Peasant Catering) - Creative Canapés
Adrian is head chef and creative partner at Vegan Peasant Catering. Based in London, they provide canapés and bowl foods for corporate events, private parties, weddings and fundraisers. He will demonstrate how to wow your guests with visually stunning canapés that will make anyone think you are a natural. It’s all in the clever construction, colour and flavour combinations. Make sure to stay until the end, as recipe cards will be handed out.

4.00 - Stephen Ward - Last Days of the Raj: Vegan delights of Anglo-India
Steve was born in Calcutta, India during the last days of the Raj. His parents witnessed the massacre that was partition and decided then to return to the UK the land of their ancestors.
But as with all British and Anglo-Indian residents of the sub-continent they adapted some native Indian recipes and brought them half-way across the world with them.
Now Steve is happy to share these secrets with VegfestUK visitors. The items that Stephen will be preparing are falouries, paratas and daul.

Come along and be inspired by Stephanie’s gorgeous recipes! Raw Foodie Stephanie Jeffs will demonstrate some of her favourite raw food dishes from her ebooks that are guaranteed to get you ready for a raw detox. Stephanie’s sessions are always fun and energetic. She will also share with you her tips on how she lost 9 stones and cured herself of chronic disease. Come along grab a taste of raw and kick start your own wellness journey by watching Stephanie prepare some of her signature dishes including plates from her tantalising Chinese buffet supper. Raw Chinese? Oh yeah.
12.00 - Rachel Demuth & Jo Ingleby - Moorish Tofu Recipes
Rachel Demuth and Jo Ingleby from award-winning Demuths Cookery School will be demonstrating their favourite ways with tofu and how to make it moorishly delicious.
Together they will show you how to make marinades and seasonings for tofu and serve a dish of Japanese Crispy Sesame Tofu with seasonal vegetables.
Rachel has been cooking and teaching world vegetarian and vegan cuisne for 30 years and is widely regarded as one of the great plant-based chefs working in the UK today. Jo is an experienced and creative chef and teacher, and an ex-head chef at Demuths Restaurant.

Come & learn how to create amazing and delicious raw food recipes to inspire your guests. This demonstration is going to show you some simple techniques to prepare raw foods like the professionals. Sarmado is going to teach some basic skills to create restaurant style dishes to get you back in the kitchen.
Gourmet raw living foods can be delicious. They're a fabulous addition to a conventional menu or diet which can really encourage those wishing to choose healthier alternatives. Let's face it, we all want to eat in a way that makes us feel happy, inspired and vibrantly alive.
3.00 - Neil Robinson & Tim Barford (Yaoh) - Hemp Smoothie Demo
Join show director and Yaoh manager Tim Barford with his special guest Neil Robinson, who used to play professional football at the top level with the likes of Everton and Swansea City in the 70's and 80's, whilst on a veggie and later vegan diet. Tim has been vegan for 30 years and is a big fan of hemp and smoothies, and he and Neil put the two together into a lively and humorous demo which involves some fantastic smoothie tasting, including their favourite smoothie recipes. This demo is informative and easily accessible, and includes vegan sources of protein and essential fatty acids.
4:00 - Aradhana Kaur - A Raw Mexican Fiesta
Raw food chef and teacher Aradhana Kaur of Beautiful Heart Raw Kitchen takes us on a trip to Mexico to re-create a raw version of a popular dish. For Aradhana, raw food is all about vibrancy and the zest for life, bringing the sunshine from living foods into our body to create radiance from the inside out. In this demo, Aradhana will prepare a raw vegan chilli and herbed cauliflower rice served with cashew sour cream. It’s simple to prepare and deeply delicious.
