Cookery Classes with Tony Bishop Weston - Saturday

Cookery Classes suitable for kids of all ages will be staged in the afternoon under the watchful tutorage of celebrated vegan cookbook author Mr Tony Bishop Weston. Learn how to make some cracking healthy vegan dishes that are simple, nutritious and cheap, and a lot of fun. Massively popular last year although rumours that the workshops ended up in a huge food fight are currently unproven. Kids can expect a lot of fun, some very tasty recipes and plenty of spoons and bowls o lick afterwards.

Magic Shows with Paul The Magician - Saturday

Paul the Magician returns for another stint of magic suitable for the little ones – he will keep them captivated and mystified whilst rooted to the spot with his eye-catching displays of magic and mystery. Paul will be performing several shows throughout the afternoon

Creative Kids workshops Sunday 12 – 5pm

Handmade Graphics - Decorations Designs and hats

Come and be creative with old maps, coloured paper, magazines, old books and newspaper! Make some fantastic creations using old treasures with your own art work to produce costumes, picture frames, and art in a box!

13:00-17:00 Catch the Rolling Stage, roaming stage! This man towed trailer roams freely across the festival showcasing different performances from local and regional artists throughout the weekend (see our black board for more details). Rolling Stage on wheels provides a portable platform for artists and musicians. The world of RS has been shrunken down, but is still as electric and immersive as ever. They roll up, set up, take off and take over! Showcasing the same packed program of weird and wonderful contemporary performance art blended with music. They have burst out of the venue and will hit the sky!

For VegFestUK 2011 The Rolling Stage is Helios’s Chariot of the Sun. Pulled by their magnificent white horses, while handing out gifts from the gods, of the fruit and vegetable variety that is!
